Project

Patterns in Relativity: Interdisciplinary Studies between Mathematics and Astrophysics (PRISMALab) is a research initiative developed at the Center for Mathematical Modeling (CMM) of the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (FCFM) at the University of Chile.

The PrismaLab research team is made up of academics, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students who work on diverse problems involving general relativity, nonlinear dispersive equations, cosmology, and gravitational theory, drawing motivation from a wide range of fields. We encourage multidisciplinary research, and the experimental advances obtained using machine learning tools are inspired and supported by the theoretical results obtained in our projects, which in turn are conditioned by the physical reality associated with the problem.
